Giving students easier access to their information with Meshed Student Portal

Checking a timetable, viewing results or finding a payment receipt should be straightforward. When students can access this information themselves, they can stay informed while student services teams spend less time responding to routine enquiries.

The Meshed Student Portal brings key academic, financial and communication information together within the provider’s student management system. It gives students a central place to manage everyday tasks and stay connected with their institution.

Keep personal information up to date

Students can view and update their personal information, current address and emergency contact details through the portal. Where their Overseas Student Health Cover has been arranged through the provider, they can also view the relevant cover information.

The home page displays institutional news and reminders, helping students keep track of announcements and updates that may require their attention.

Stay informed about study and progress

Students can view their timetable in weekly or monthly formats and access subject and assessment results once they are made available.

The study plan provides a summary of enrolled courses and course progress. Students can review subject completion status, final outcomes and attendance information, giving them a clearer view of where they are in their studies.

Attendance records are also available in a weekly view, alongside current and projected attendance percentages. This visibility helps students understand their attendance position and identify when they may need to seek support.

View fees and payment records

The payment section allows students to view fees paid and upcoming tuition fees, along with other recorded charges such as health cover or accommodation arrangement fees. Receipts can be downloaded for paid invoices.

Where the optional online payment functionality is enabled, students can also pay fees through the portal. Available payment options depend on the provider’s configured integration.

Connect with teachers and student services

The portal supports communication with both academic and administrative teams. Students can email a teacher about a selected course and unit, or send feedback to the relevant institutional contact on topics such as academic services, facilities, administration or payments.

Communication history allows students to view letters and emails issued to them. Having these records accessible helps students refer back to important information and follow up with the appropriate team.

Extend self service with optional modules

Providers can extend the portal with optional functionality to support additional student activities:

Class enrolment — students select a course, semester, subject and class session, then enrol through the portal.

Assessment uploads — students submit assessment files and see an indication that their submission has been recorded.

Document access — students view and download documents such as academic notices, handbooks, policies and procedures.

Evaluations — students complete activated evaluations relating to courses, subjects, teachers or facilities.

Make everyday student tasks simpler

Give students easier access to the information they need, while freeing up your team to focus on more individual support.

PRISMS Reporting Made Simple: A Guide for International Student Administrators

For education providers managing international students, accurate student information and compliance obligations are essential parts of day-to-day operations.

One key system is the Provider Registration and International Student Management System (PRISMS), which registered providers use to manage Confirmation of Enrolments (CoEs) and report relevant information about international students.

While PRISMS is an important part of compliance, managing the related information and processes can sometimes be challenging—particularly when teams rely on multiple systems, spreadsheets and manual processes.

TCSI PIR Explained: What Higher Education Providers Need to Report

The 2025 TCSI PIR reporting deadline is approaching, with reporting and verification due by 28 August 2026.

For Australian Higher Education Providers, preparing for the Provider Information Request (PIR) Student Data Collection isn’t simply about generating a submission.

The student data behind that submission needs to be accurate, complete and ready for validation.
